ICHRA Filing - Agent Agent Action

Split the returned Mandatory Agreement into two documents and route each to the correct recipient for ICHRA plan filing and Echo payment setup.

  • Split agreement into two: DBS Plan Design and Echo ACH Form
  • DBS Plan Design: employer legal info, benefit structure, class config, optional services
  • Echo ACH Form: bank account & routing info for automated premium payments
  • Send Echo ACH to service@ichramasters.com — ICHRA Masters only
  • Send Plan Design to DBS: JGensler@dbsbenefits.com and CSchultz@dbsbenefits.com
  • Tell DBS: "I am associated with ICHRA Masters" to ensure correct routing
  • If optional services (FSA, HSA, COBRA): also email the employer census and a signed BAA (Business Associate Agreement) to DBS
  • A BAA protects health information which is required for those services. You can download the blank BAA form directly from the ICHRA Filing page
  • DBS contacts employer directly for onboarding and plan document setup
⚠️
PCORI Notice
The PCORI fee is NOT included in the administrative fee. The plan sponsor (employer) is responsible for paying this fee directly to the IRS annually.

ICHRA Filing - ICHRA Masters 🏛 ICHRA Masters Action

This entire phase is handled exclusively by the ICHRA Masters team. There is absolutely no action required by the agent during this step other than waiting for the virtual cards to be issued.

  • ICHRA Masters Action: We submit the ACH form and handle the bank verify process via Echo
  • ICHRA Masters Action: We establish the employer profile and configure all funding details
  • We may reach out to you if we need the Funds Pull Date or Reserve Amount
  • ICHRA Masters Action: We onboard the employees into the Echo system and build the plan structure
  • ICHRA Masters Action: Finally, we generate all virtual cards and email them directly to you
  • Agent Action: Sit tight! Your only job right now is to wait to receive those virtual cards
🛑
Agent Must Wait
Initial funding must be processed before virtual cards are issued. Agent cannot begin enrollment until virtual cards are in hand — no exceptions.
